MEP engineering is a speciality in  the building design field that involves mechanical, electrical and plumbing services.  Mechanical usually refers to air conditioning, heating, ventilation and may be other mechanical devices such as pumps.  Plumbing includes water supply and drainage.  It also includes fire protection system that spray water or other chemicals, while the power is the responsibility of the electrical engineers.  Design will have calculations of heat load, electrical load, piping network distribution and many other parameters.  Execution works includes installations of chillers, air handling units, fan coil units, chilled water pumps, drainage pumps, fire fighting equipments and many other equipments
